Hartford International Film Festival

Thursday, November 6th through Sunday, November 9th, 2008!

The Hartford International Film Festival is now accepting submissions for narrative films (feature and short), documentary films (feature and short), experimental films (all lengths) and student films (all lengths).

Film categories for the 2008 Hartford International Film Festival include:

• Narrative Feature
• Narrative Short (under 30 minutes)
• Documentary Feature
• Documentary Short (under 30 minutes)
• Experimental Film
• Connecticut Film (must be filmed in CT, directed/written/produced by a CT resident,
  or feature a CT resident in a lead role)
• Student Film

Film submission deadlines are as follows:

• Regular Deadline- October 1
• Late Deadline- October 15

Film Festival entry fees are as follows:

• Before October 1 (regular deadline)-
• Features- $45
• Shorts- $35
• Student Films- $30

• Before October 15 (late deadline)-
• Features- $55
• Shorts- $45
• Student Films- $40

BENEFIT FOR HIFF 2008

Now in its third year, HIFF promises an even bigger helping of innovative independent film from both local and international filmmakers at venues across Hartford.
HIFF is truly a labor of love and is run and staffed entirely by a small, committed group of volunteers. We are asking for your support to help HIFF grow.
Building on Hartfords rich history of innovation and culture, HIFF is a grassroots film festival seeking new ways to make innovative film accessible to the diverse Hartford community and beyond.
